However, from October 31st-November 1st, you can catch a unique party hosted by both the venue as well as Boca Magazine. This year includes live music, an open bar valet parking, and champagne bottle service. If you decide to splurge and go for the VIP dinner service, there’s plenty of spectacular or in this case, Spooktacular cuisines to indulge. October in Boca Raton Means Horsing Around

Now, that you’ve learned about some parties and philanthropy, it’s time to feature some activities that will keep you busy this Fall. The Staffordshire Equestrian Center is a gorgeous farm that provides both lessons as well as boarding. While it’s too soon to roll out the Polo Club seats, October tends to be an excellent month to enjoy riding with the cooler temperatures. The family-owned business is iconic to Boca Raton as well as Palm Beach County and has been opened for over a decade. Early Snowbirds Welcome

Other than the excitement of riding horses, October in Boca Raton means so much more. The return of the snowbirds is once again upon us. While many would argue these folks are tourists and only here from December to April, we find that quite a few are homeowners, part-time residents and are allowed to stay an extra two months if they do own a home. The news is terrific for many of the Canadian residents after United States Representative Ted Deutch introduced the “Canadian Snowbird Visa Act.” In fact, the National Association of Realtors reported the Canadians to be 2nd in the nation for purchasing the most real estate! Now that’s something we can all celebrate as these folks spend money helping us boost a robust economy. Wear Bright Clothing with Reflectors During Halloween Night

It won’t be long now before Oct 31st sees the streets of Boca Raton crowded with ghouls and goblins of all ages. When taking your kids out for ‘trick or treating,’ remember to wear bright clothing such as something with a reflector. In other words, be sure to keep the kids safe with apparel the Palm Beach County motorists can easily see visible. Not only do we pride ourselves on having a safe community, we practice the safety measures necessary to keep us ranking higher.

Best Places Around Boca Raton for Pumpkin Hunting

Other than the safety issues that come along with Halloween, you’ll find a ton of places for you to enjoy the season. Pick up a plump pumpkin, win a costume contest or enjoy some refreshments with the many different Pumpkin Patches and Halloween Fairs perfect for the entire family. Whether you’re the grandparents looking to entertain the kidlets or you’re a mom and dad wanting to try a new spot for trick or treating, there are some excellent places listed on this site: https://pumpkinpatchesandmore.org/FLpsoutheast.php

Time for Fall Sports and Leisure

Now that you’re familiar with where to find the nearest pumpkin patch, this time of year brings ideal weather for sports such as a challenging round of golf. With all the country clubs nearby Boca Raton offers an exceptional recreational landscape for those who love outdoor sports such as tennis, bicycling and cross-country triathlons. You can’t help but notice the parade of joggers who line the streets from dusk till dawn in this gorgeous city. Also, places like Boca Bath & Tennis Club feature some of the best Har-Tru courts for you to take your practice swings. October is an excellent month to get warmed up for the tournament season starting in February. As you know the old saying goes “Champions Train, Losers Complain” so get your racquet, clubs or sneakers and hit the road for some awesome inspiration.
