Castellina in Chianti is a commune of about 2,800 inhabitants in the province of Siena, in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 20 miles South of Florence and about 10 miles NW of Siena. It is part of the Chianti Hills, between the valleys of the Arbia, Pesa and Elsa rivers.
Perched on the hills of the prestigious Chianti Classico landscape, organic wine farm with an extension of 335 acres boasting 82 acres cultivated with vineyards with mainly Sangiovese vines coupled with international vines as Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc e Chardonnay.

For the past 40 years the current owners have been fully dedicated to the production of quality Chianti Classico wines, renovating vineyards, creating a winemaking and aging cellar facility and, since 2009, pursuing organic certification.

Annually some 75,000 bottles are produced, 75% marketed abroad. Excellent organic production of DOP-certified evo oil with varieties of Correggiolo, Moraiolo and Leccino. The estate features two separate facilities: the first is a 11th-century hamlet masterly restored into holiday apartments and a separate villa; the second includes offices and the winery facility featuring new technologies combined with scenic brick colonnades, arches and high vaulted ceilings.

All residences retain the charm of Tuscan country houses with arched loggias and natural stone facades overlooking a courtyard, and the interiors are embellished in rustic style with high wood-beamed ceilings, exposed terracotta tiles, stone walls, brick arches and wood-burning fireplaces.
