3100 Gordon Drive Naples Florida

In a recent article found in Forbes Magazine written by luxury columnist Kristin Tablang, titled “The Most Expensive Home Listing in Every State 2016” she lists a home found in the 3100 block of Gordon Drive in Naples, as the featured home in the state of Florida.  We were curious and decided to do a ‘deep dive’ into this particular property, to find out why this home was selected. After doing our due diligence, we can certainly see why it made the cut. Here are some of the highlights we found when we did the research for this property.

Although homes have sold for more than the listed price of 59.9 million, our real estate market is one reason why so much of our affluent society enjoys buying homes in South Florida.  Take for instance, Donald Trump’s Maison de L’Amitie home in Palm Beach that sold for $95 million back in 2008. This was a flip sale, according to an article found by Editor-in-Chief of Zillow, Diane Tuman and was sold to billionaire Dmitry Ryboloylev.  Regardless of what a home has sold for, the selection of inventory for luxury properties is vast, whether you’re in Naples or Boca Raton. Another point of logic is the spectacular amenities, the designs and the climate. You know you’re entering a home that’s unique and one of a kind when you take into consideration the great detail these homes have, like the one listed in Naples.

Talk about curb appeal, this single family luxury home on a four-acre lot, is an estate worth admiring.  Although you can’t see the property driving by, the photos are breathtaking, nonetheless.  Those fortunate enough to view this incredible 5-bedrooms, 6 full bath with 2 half bath house will have their eyes full.  In every corner, there’s detail, not only stunning, but a pure work of craftsmanship that is pleasing to the eye. Not one inch of this property could be observed without noticing the accommodations and fine intricacies. From the Venetian plaster walls to the unique, designed ceilings that differ from every room, this is no doubt a jewel to behold.

When you first see this majestic treasure, you can’t help but notice the rows of windows that wrap around the exterior of the home. Because the property sits on 4 acres, there’s plenty of lush grass and wide open space that is private and semi-secluded from the rest of the world. Almost every cobblestone for this driveway was hand-selected and fit for royalty. A circular drive joins a classical fountain in the center. The estate offers a handsome way to welcome guests and of course the owner.

You’re welcomed again, once inside the foyer and when you see the large winding staircase.  Under the stairs is a bar that’s slightly hidden and equipped with lots of shelves for stocking your favorite elixir.  The masculine wooden floors create a warm environment and compliment the landing area of this home. The thick dark wood flooring is found in nearly every room.

Not one corner of this property was left untouched and you’ll find that fixtures such as the crown molding and door frames are made with precision from a master artisan.

In each room hangs a chandelier that makes a statement. No matter if you’re admiring the chandeliers or your glancing at the walls, you’ll find no two rooms are alike. This makes the home appealing to art collectors, celebrities and those who enjoy the finer things in life.

If you’re accustomed to working from a home office, there’s plenty of space in the den. This is big enough to furnish a full size conference room table and seating along with an oversized desk.  Besides the spacious area that the office has to offer, you’ll find the previous owners had excellent taste for recreation.

The theater room hosts a layout that’s large enough for a couple couches or rows of seating. The raised flooring in this room accommodates a theater experience and is an excellent room for a film screening.

Incredible views of the seascape and lush grounds can be seen in almost every room with the multitude of wall to ceiling windows. The windows drop any chance for a room that feels stuffy and gives the residence a bright and airy feel. Pleasant light dances in every room, whether you’re cooking in the kitchen or sitting in one of the many living rooms.

Any chef would be proud to prepare a feast in this gorgeous commercial style kitchen.  The island in the middle is enormous, with plenty of drawers for storage. There’s an industrial-size gas stove with counter depth, built in refrigerator and stacks of cupboards with custom cabinetry. One of the most alluring features of this kitchen design is the use of marble counter tops and a variety of materials used for the back splash.  The designing for each wall has a different texture and pattern making this décor even more original.  The coffer ceiling gives the kitchen a grandiose appearance, making this a polished and well thought out composition.

The 15,996 square foot chateau is just as refined indoors as well as out. With the stately swimming pool that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and the large lanai, you’ll feel like you’re on vacation daily.

The only downfall we can see in this area is the outdoor living space needs to have a slight remodel with updates. There’s ornate lighting on the exterior of the home that creating mystery.  When lit at night, the home will remind you of a castle, made of dreams.

You can move your parties out to your own private beach or take a stroll by the water's edge when you’d like to experience a little sun and sand. It's a perfect home fit for royalty.

No matter where you are, in the home or on the outside, this property is going to make any new owner proud. With a dignified sanctuary that’s ideal for those wanting to retire to privacy and plenty of space for guests it's ideal for those wanting options. Many international residents will be inquiring about this casa by the sea, because of all the amenities.

This home with all its graceful features and its location with the magnificent four-acre lot, will be one that no one will want to hesitate to re-locating. The best part is, it’s move in ready!
