It’s time to pull up the anchor loose in the dock lines and sink your ship into high gear for some of the best local places for you to sail your yacht. Whether you enjoy snorkeling, deep-sea fishing or any other type of water sport, there comes a point where you’ll have to tie-up for some land entertainment. We’ve compiled a list of some of the hottest spots in the Boca Raton and Delray Beach area for you to bring guests or enjoy after cruising the Intracoastal or the salty sea of the Atlantic Ocean.

One of Palm Beach County’s finest marinas is located off the Intracoastal and Fishtail Palm waterway.  The Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club can hold boats up to 130 feet long. Royal Palm happens to be one of the only marinas accessible by the Intracoastal.  This marina hosts world-class dining 19 hold Jack Nicholas golf course and is undergoing new construction for a place called The Office.  The renovations will include a floating dock system that serves as a social gathering of both members of the club as well as their guests. Regardless of whether or not your celebrity status or just someone who enjoys yachting this historical location is one you won’t want to miss.

If you are looking for a smaller marina to dock up overnight, then check out the Yacht Club at Delray Beach. Accessible by way of the Intracoastal and walking distance to the trendy Atlantic Avenue this club holds 44 slips and can harbor vessels up to 130 feet. Some of the amenities include a poolside Tiki bar located next to an Olympic size swimming pool as well as a clubhouse for parties and events. This point of the compass also shares space with the historic Jupiter lighthouse. One of Jupiter Florida’s newest scenes, and home of singer-songwriter Céline Dion as well as Michael Jordan this area is a mecca for celebrities as well as pro athletes. Nonetheless, it’s an excellent venue while spending a day on the coast.

On the horizon and part of the Gulf Stream, the contractors known as Seaside Builders have begun new construction that will include the Seagate Yacht Club.  This resort community includes both resident occupancy along with several amenities for those living in the secluded Delray Beach neighborhood. At this location you’ll find a vibrant community with residents the carry-on active lifestyles.  What you’ll find here are luxury condominiums and multi-million-dollar homes with owners that have a passion for salt life. This resort style community carries the essence of youth no matter what your age may be. If you are downsizing, this may be a location worth considering.

If you’re scoping out places for docking your boat while having a nice dinner, two great locations located in Delray can accommodate smaller boats. Both Deck 84 and Hudsons are conveniently located on the Intracoastal and offer five-star dining as well as entertainment.

Heading south a bit the Waterstone Resort and Marina bring you world-class cuisine along with overnight accommodations. Be sure to make reservations for Boca Landing. Located inside of the resort you can have your favorite elixir paired with top-notch plates.

If you’ll be traveling south more, Houston’s restaurant in Pompano Beach is a great choice for larger vessels. You can tie right up to the dock. There is plenty of seating outside if you’re the type of person who likes to keep tabs on your shipmates.

On a side note, be sure to always check the weather prior to boating during hurricane season. By planning your trip accordingly you’ll not only enjoy your day on the water, but you’ll also keep you and your guests safe.
