History
Until the Tequesta Indians inhabited the eighteenth-century Boca Raton. That's until the Intracoastal and railways were built making the town more accessible to pioneers and settlers. Driver’s Licenses and Vehicle Registration:
Since many of the parks require proof of residency, you’ll want to be sure to get your driver’s license or state identification. In most cases, the Florida Department of Vehicles allows walk-ins for things like ID and vehicle registration. However, we do recommend making an appointment or doing what you can online. In most cases, you’ll find the wait times to be minimal.

Also, those seeking to worship in our city, have a further selection of churches, synagogues and other places where they can follow a religious belief. Depending on your denomination, you can use Yelp.com to find the proper place. However, some of the larger campuses would be Calvary Chapel, and St. Joan of Arc. If going to Chabot is more appropriate, Boca Raton prides itself on having a large Jewish community. Be sure to check the city for listings on places for you to build your faith and spirituality.
Economic Growth:
Employment is vast, and the economy in the area has proven to flourish over the last few years. Major companies such as IBM and the Jardan Corporation have built their headquarters in the town. These Fortune 500 companies are located all over the city and continue to make Boca Raton a conservative investment regardless of location.
