Don’t Miss These Awesome Dates Where You Can Be a Part of the Bocaratonian Community

Fall is the best time of year where the temperatures in Florida are a cooler 74 – 84°. You’ll find more people are taking up golf and tennis as well as joining in a local activity. Of course, we can’t forget Halloween and the kick-off to the holiday season where everything is pumpkin and spice. Peek at some of the upcoming events during October where you too can join in the fun!

Oct 2nd

The Boca Raton Resort & Club are celebrating with a Mobility Innovation Conference. We’re sure many of our local businesses will be attending as the topics for discussion include developing ecosystems, providing safer government sites and framework, as well as learning about transportation and how to improve. An excellent line up of guest speakers and what a terrific venue to have the seminar be sure to let them know Boca Raton Premier Properties sent you!

Oct 4th

Delray Beach has a full line up of activity this month as well including Climate & Art Festival Weekend. The event starts on Friday and ends on Saturday night, but you’ll find plenty of great parties if you miss this one. Delray Beach is dialed in with the community and always looking for ways to bring everyone together.

The Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum will include a champagne trolley tour starting at Boca Raton Resort & Club. The evening event beginning at 6:00 PM will be loads of fun with dancing a cash bar and some delectable hors oeuvres.

Oct 5th

Seems to be a lot of buzz around town for this event? The 1-year Grandiversary Beer Festival being held at Crazy Uncle Mike’s off North Federal in Boca Raton is going to be a hoot! The fundraiser will be helping those in need from Special Spaces. The nonprofit renovates bedrooms for children who are fighting cancer. However, the part itself will undoubtedly help those who love handcrafted beer, live music, and handcrafted beer. Super cause, lots of fun and something you need to check out!

Oct 5th

Attention ALL cheese lovers: Whole Foods Market is introducing world-renown cheese maker Vito Volpe of Mozzarita to join up and teach you a few things about his brand and how he tackles the art of making cheese. Don’t forget to break out the vino at this spectacular and unique event held right at the grocer off of Glades Road in Boca Raton. Delicious!

Oct 5th

South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary will host “A Taste of the Nations” at Sugar Sand Park off South Military. They will be providing free food and drinks to those who are first in line as a way of bringing the community together to worship and build strength. They’re looking to get the food count right away. If you are attending, let them know ASAP so that they can provide an adequate supply.

Oct 10th

The Kiwanis of Boca Raton is having a 5K Reeds Rainbow Run Fundraiser. They will meet up at the Boca Raton Community Center off Crawford Boulevard. Be sure to sign up early as they most likely will have a deadline. The event aims to raise money and awareness for The Snow Foundation, which helps students with scholarship funding. Thus far, the organization has raised $1,445,535 and still counting. The Kiwanis are an active community in themselves always looking to do good for less fortunate and well deserving.

Oct 15th

Hot Florida Nights Car Cruise in Delray should be a real celebration including tons of vintage and collector’s cars. The car show will be behind Cabo Flats where you can enjoy top-shelf tequila and some delicious tuna tacos! Don’t hesitate to eat a ton of this unique farm to table restaurant and enjoy some of the coolest cars on the road.

Oct 19th

Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch Festival will be at the Mizner Park Amphitheater where you’ can listing to live music, enjoy some fabulous desserts where the shops will most likely be including discounted food and drink prices. Be sure to get over to this family event so pack the kiddos and head over to this super fun event.

Oct 23rd

Morikami Museum Lantern Festival is holding their Lantern Festival, and this is quite the sight to see! You’ll want to dress for the occasion. The museum is located on a large lake where there is most likely going to have bugs. If you’re a shutterbug, this is the time to bring a camera s the disposable lanterns look stunning floating and gliding over the water on the lake. Kimonos are optional!

Oct 26th

The Tedx Boca Raton conference will be held at the Carole and Barry Kaye Auditorium. While they haven’t announced who the guest speaker will be yet, we’re sure it’ll be credible with tons of insight. It’s possible they are working on the website and haven’t updated, so be sure to check in a few days as there will be limited seating and there’s a high traffic factor at any of these events.

Oct 31st

Bring in the creatures and goblins and head over the Addison Country Club where you can have fun celebrating, Neon Nights, The Event of the Year. You’ll have tons of good tons creating memories at this unique costume party. This party will include a three-course meal with a Latin inspired menu not to mention a candy and dessert station. This is going to be one event you won’t want to miss with so many thrills and excitement all with a fantastic venue such as the Addison.
